With a Focus on Customization for a Variety of Lifestyles, Norwalk Furniture Will Introduce Nine Upholstery Groups and 130 Fabrics at High Point Market
NORWALK, Ohio – April 22, 2017 – Updated silhouettes that adapt to a wide range of interiors characterize Norwalk’s nine new designs for the upcoming April High Point Market. With more than 800 fabrics, 100 leathers and a dozen nail head options, the design possibilities are nearly endless.
“As consumers become more design savvy, customization becomes increasingly important,” said Caroline Hipple, president of Norwalk Furniture. “With our coordinated colors, patterns and textures, we make it easy for consumers to create a personal, pulled together look that allows them to express their own unique points of view.”
With a focus on facilitating a personal sense of style, new pieces this spring reflect a broad array of design influences. Highlights of the new collections include:
Rondo Sofa: A statement piece to say the least, the Rondo Sofa features a distinctive jelly bean shaped seat and a slim track top edge and arm which narrows down to a point on the front to envelope the inside back and tight seat. With hidden legs, the silhouette appears to float on the floor. Shapely and memorable, Rondo will find its way into trend-forward homes with its contemporary, sexy shape. Available in 800 fabrics.
Allegra Sofa, Chair and Ottoman: Sophisticated and detail-rich, the three-over-three Allegra Sofa stretches out to greet you. The distinctive shape of the heavily padded, modified track arm extends itself across the beautiful flared back, which rises slightly above the gently curved back rail. The complimentary arm chair features a T-cushion, slightly recessed arms and distinctively shaped foot. Allegra comes standard with Norwalk Furniture’s Ultra Core cushion for an extra luxurious sit, making it the perfect piece for an elegant living room. Available in 800 fabrics and 40 wood finishes.
Sonata Chair and Ottoman: Characterized by its weltless, shapely silhouette, the Sonata features a symphony of curves. From the concave front rail of the chair – which matches up perfectly to the convex curve of the ottoman – to its slightly dipped back and flowing curves of the side rails, you’ll have a difficult time finding a straight line anywhere on the Sonata Chair and Ottoman. The shapely silhouette is strikingly beautiful and elegant, making it perfect for transitional and contemporary homes alike. Available in 800 fabrics and 40 wood finishes.
Buttons Stool: With its whimsical, over-scaled buttons, the Buttons Stool is the perfect occasional piece for traditional or contemporary settings alike. Available with either hidden casters, or a swivel base, the Buttons Stool is the ideal pull-up stool for extra seating wherever you may need it. Available in 800 fabrics and 100 leathers.
Chip Cocktail Table: Crisply upholstered in a Crypton-protected linen, the Chip Cocktail Table garners pride of place in both traditional as well as contemporary spaces. Drawing inspiration from the traditional English designs of Thomas Chippendale, Chip features a shapely base and is available in both a square or rectangular silhouette. Available in 9 linen color ways, the fabrics feature superlative cleanability and years of care-free use.
