Mack® Pinnacle™ Model Spotlighted at American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council
GREENSBORO, NC (Feb. 24, 2017) – Mack Trucks today announced it will feature a 2017 Mack® Pinnacle™ Axle Back DayCab model in booth no. 1722 at the American Trucking Associations’ (ATA’s) Technology & Maintenance Council Feb. 27 to March 2 in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Pinnacle model features a fully integrated Mack powertrain including a 2017 Mack MP®8 engine with 445 horsepower and 1,860 lb.-ft. of torque, a Mack mDRIVE™ 12-speed automated manual transmission, and a Mack 12,000 lb. front axle and Mack 38,000 lb. rear axles.
Additional features on the Pinnacle model include:
- Mack ClearTech® One exhaust aftertreatment system;
- Mack Twin Y™ air suspension;
- Mack PowerLeash engine brake;
- Mack Road Stability Advantage by Bendix; and
- Mack GuardDog® Connect.
Mack also will highlight its extensive uptime solutions, including an update on its Mack Certified Uptime Centers and the fully integrated GuardDog Connect telematics platform. Standard on all Mack models, GuardDog Connect provides proactive monitoring of a truck and its powertrain for potential issues that could lead to unplanned downtime.
Working with Mack’s OneCall™ uptime agents and Mack ASIST, GuardDog Connect enables real-time diagnosis of issues, scheduling of repairs and confirmation that needed parts are in stock and ready to install, all while a truck is still on the road.
